Hi there! Welcome to my cyberspace home! I'm Mike. I live just outside of Detroit, Michigan with my amazing wife and two wild kids.

I received a B.S. in Information Technology from Oakland University before attending the Specs Howard School of Media Arts for graphic design.

I'm currently employed as a Technical Product Documentation Manager, leading a team of 4 talented technical writers. In addition to my manager responsibilities, I'm also the lead software engineer for the product documentation website, which includes maintaining and enhancing a containerized .NET web application with a react-based front-end.

I have received certifications from Microsoft and Boomi, and am proficient with Jira, Confluence, and Coveo platforms.

In addition to sharing my designs and projects, I use this site to learn and practice new skills within C#, JavaScript, React, Azure, and GitHub. I even use Recipes to try out different technical writing techniques.
